<span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> 1876 <\/span> that the call for the construction of Tower Bridge is launched. For the construction of the bridge two massive piers were used in the river bed. They are intended to support the construction and in addition 11 mile tons of steel have been used. The latter to provide the structure for the towers and walkways!  Cornish granite was used to protect the steel structure. It is no coincidence that the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Thames <\/span> is the river that flows through London and is also one of the most important passage channels! <br> The Tower Bridge connects two areas: <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Tower Hill <\/span> and <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Bermondsey <\/span>, an area in Southwark. The first is very famous for the presence of the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Tower of London <\/span>. Visiting the Tower of London is a must. First of all, the position in which it is located is very strange. It stands out in a position that highlights the difference between the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> \"old and new\" <\/span> city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center translation-block\">If you see it from the side of Tower Hill (where there is also the nearest subway and bus station) there will be a series of buildings on the background. Among these is the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Sky Garden <\/span>, a curved building and home to one of the places with the <span class=\"has -inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> most beautiful view <\/span> in London. <br> On the top floor there is an immense garden in a huge glass room with a bar in the center. The exterior is the most beautiful part because you can attend one of the most beautiful <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> scenic spots <\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quanto_e_alto_il_Tower_Bridge\"><\/span>How tall is Tower Bridge?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center translation-block\">But let's go back to Tower Bridge. The bridge is long <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> 800 feet (240 m) <\/span> with two tall towers <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell -acc-color\"> 213 feet (65 m) <\/span>, built on piers. I don't think I already told you, but the bridge can be visited. <br> Tower Bridge, as you can see, holds many surprises. If you cross the bridge you will reach a point where you can access it. And when evening comes, Tower Bridge becomes a <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> magical place <\/span>. Can you believe it if I tell you that only here in this area have I been there for almost 2 days? To take all these photos that you are seeing in different angles, I had to. <br> Crazy? I personally recommend going, also because in this area there are many clubs. Then find a lot of youth along the Thames, there are many benches to sit on and make friends. The reason is simple, apart from disinformation. The London Bridge really exists <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> but it's absolutely not this <\/span>. And if you want to know it is the bridge that you find in <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Westminster <\/span> and that takes you to where the <span class=\"is located has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> Big Ben <\/span> or to opposite side. In the photos, it is what often has the background <span class=\"has-inline-color has-trawell-acc-color\"> British Parliament <\/span> and Big Ben. <br> The positive thing, however, is that the two bridges are very close, about 1 km! So if you like walking, once you have visited one, you can move on to the other.
