Capri in 3-4 hours
Here is an optimized 3-hour itinerary for those disembarking at Marina Piccola (at the Scoglio delle Sirene or nearby piers).
- 0:00 – 0:15 | Disembarkation and Ascent: As soon as you disembark, take the local bus (Marina Piccola – Capri line) or an open-top taxi to reach the center in 10 minutes. If you prefer to walk, the uphill climb via Via Mulo is scenic but takes about 20-25 minutes at a steady pace.
- 0:15 – 0:45 | The Piazzetta and Shopping: Arrival at the Piazzetta (Piazza Umberto I). A quick coffee or a photo from the panoramic terrace overlooking the harbor. Continue immediately to Via Camerelle, the luxury street, to admire the shop windows.

- 0:45 – 1:30 | Gardens of Augustus and Via Krupp: Reach the Gardens of Augustus (entrance fee, a few euros). From here, you have the iconic view of the Faraglioni and can admire from above the spectacular hairpin bends of Via Krupp (which descends right toward Marina Piccola).
- 1:30 – 2:30 | Walk to the Tragara Belvedere: From the Gardens area, follow the signs for the Charterhouse of Saint Giacomo (passing in front of it) and take Via Tragara. It is a flat, flower-lined walk that ends at the Tragara Belvedere, the closest point facing the Faraglioni.

- 2:30 – 3:00 | Return and Descent: Head back toward the center. If you still have 15 minutes, grab an artisanal gelato from Buonocore (the smell of warm cones will guide you).
- Take the bus or a taxi to go back down to Marina Piccola for boarding.
- If you want to skip the Piazzetta and stay closer to the sea, you can dedicate the 3 hours exclusively to the Marina Piccola area. A quick lunch by the sea or a swim at the Scoglio delle Sirene is worth considering.
