Positano beaches: which one to choose?
Free beach
Well, I think we will all agree on which to choose (if it's the public one). Why? You should know that in Positano there is only one public beach. You can reach it on foot along the famous paths of Positano.

The walk will be very pleasant . Ah, if you are in the company of your sweet half (woman), you will see the beach through binoculars or after a while. Yes, because the narrow streets of Positano are full of typical shops. And we know very well that the combination of women - shops goes hand in hand, strength and courage !!!
Private beaches
Besides the free beach there are also private beaches where you can relax. They are both adjacent to the free beach and in completely different areas. Some are private exclusively for clients of accommodation facilities or who wants some privacy.
Positano One Day Itinerary by Walk: kayak tour
When I first told you that of free beach there is only one , actually lying . Of free beach within walking distance yes, but luckily they invented the kayak . You can rent them on any beach or even on a free beach . I personally always carry mine with me. It is comfortable, inflatable (in 5 minutes) and can be transported on a scooter.

Also because renting a kayak in Positano is not cheap, if I'm not mistaken, 10/15 euros per hour. I have circumnavigated the coast for at least 2 hours, in one hour is also feasible . Ah, my kayak costs the beauty of 80 euros, and for all the times I have used it I don't know how much money I saved.

But no more talk, once at sea you can start exploring the area on the right or on the left. I recommend you do both because there are other beaches you can access . What will leave you stunned , however, as soon as in the water it will be the view of Positano from the sea.
It looks like a real pyramid that stands on the water, an impressive sight. A vision that you will hardly forget, in fact, before starting the tour, relax . Enjoy the view for a few minutes and then go. P.S. bring a waterproof mobile phone case.
Positano clothing: in the heart of the city
Although it is small and concentrated, as soon as you set foot in the city you already find yourself in the center. "Positano clothing" . Famous and renowned all over the world for its colors and its simplicity.

There are also many souvenirs that you can take home: including hand-made objects in bright colors. Made by local craftsmen with lots of love and passion.

Positano One Day Itinerary by Walk: breathtaking viewpoints
One of the nice things about Positano is to get there and you can do it in many ways, one of these is the stretch of coast. I mention it first because I want to tell you about the viewpoints just outside Positano.
Small premise: if you are from the area I recommend going by scooter. And when I say of the area I also refer to Naples for example. I tell you this because, first of all, with the scooter you can stop when you want and where you want. And then you can save a little bit of parking money.

Going to Positano , it doesn't matter if you come from Salerno or Castellammare. In both cases, get ready to cross the most beautiful stretch of coast in the world . I only tell you that every time I go (I am lucky enough to live 45 minutes from there) I always make pit stops.

You may be wondering: but always in the same places? Obvious that! Although I always explore new ones . The fact is that I could not explain it in words. Every time you stop for aiming at the view always seems the first time ... It never tires, on the contrary, while you are already thinking about it when you come back and make the same pit stop, right there. In the same place that is not the same, because every time it's always different.

The most famous
I recommend , in particular, 2 seats where to stop immediately after Positano . Both can also be reached on foot (with a nice and long walk). The first is a small viewpoint located on the road that leads from Sorrento to Positano.
It is also famous because, here, you will always find the usual apecar to make granitas and lemon and orange juices . Needless to say, if you don't try them, you can't say you've been on the coast. The view from here is very beautiful, but not my favorite. Here you will see Positano from the high!

The other , on the other hand, that I literally love is on the way coming from Salerno . This I love it so much because you can see the complete skyline of Positano. At sunset it is something surreal. So when the sun goes down, if I were you, I would be there.

How to get to Positano: the most beautiful bus stop in Italy
Getting to Positano can be done in many ways: car, scooter, bus, ferry. But what will leave you in one of the most beautiful stops in Italy is the bus. In Positano there is this stop where, once you get off, you would probably want to stay there. You will start to think if there really are bus stops with such a view. Well yes, my friends, exists and it is there , waiting for you.

In addition to the bus, I am now attaching all the links of how to get to Positano from any point you want:
- Getting to Positano from Naples by ferry
- Getting to Positano from Sorrento by bus/ferry
- Private transfer to Positano from Naples
