An unprecedented event for the small Porticibut you know: in the small barrel there is good wine. Mare in Fest is a 10-day event starting 18 June until 28 of the same month.

Framing and hosting this event is the beautiful seafront of the city of Portici. Eleven days of shows, cinema, workshops, activities and crafts. Can there ever be a lack of good food? Quite a rhetorical question. Are you ready to take a peek? Iamme ià.

This year you can Buy the menus from the Mare in Fest stalls online here. Once you’ve bought your meal, all you need to do is head to your favourite stall and join the queue there.
Mare in fest Portici: what time to go?
From 6 p.m. each day, the cash desks are open for the food and beverage stands. If I may give you some advice, go to sunset time and enjoy this spectacle of nature.

3 Entrances to the Portici Sea Park
There are three entrances to the Portici Sea Park
- Via Bagnara (access point on Google Maps here)
- Viale I Camaggio (access point on Google Maps here)
- Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi 261a (access point on Google Maps here)
How to get to the Portici seafront
Not sure how best to organise your way to the seafront? Don't worry, there are tips for you
On foot
- On foot is the best (eco & green) solution, especially for locals. Getting around on foot avoids congestion and pollution
With car
- Via Bagnara: nearest car park to via Gianturco (location here) or on the Corso Garibaldi (location here). In addition to guarded parking spaces, it is possible to parking on the street in the designated parking spaces with accompanying ticket to be purchased at Easy Park machines found in the vicinity.
- Avenue I CamaggioParking in the parallel street - Avenue II Camaggio (location here) or to Via Armando Diaz (location here). In addition to guarded parking spaces, it is possible to parking on the street in the designated parking spaces with accompanying ticket to be purchased at Easy Park machines found in the vicinity.
- For Corso Garibaldi 261a: the closest is Park a Mare car park (location here). In addition to guarded parking spaces, it is possible to parking on the street in the designated parking spaces with accompanying ticket to be purchased at Easy Park machines found in the vicinity.
Please note: The entrance of Corso Garibaldiis currently thesingle access for the disabled.
Shuttle Service
Below you will find further parking areas, two of which (Via Scalea and Via Farina) have shuttle service.

By public transport (train)
- Stop at PietrarsaAccess is then from Corso Garibaldi 261a.
- Portici/Ercolano stop: go up Via Gianturco to reach theentrance from Via Bagnara
Please note: The Pietrarsa and Portici/Ercolano stops will not operate, due to ongoing work on the railway network, until the end of June 2026
- Stop in Via Libertà (Circumvesuviana)
- Portici Bellavista stop (Circumvesuviana)
The most convenient stations are the Pietrarsa and Portici/Ercolano metro stations
