An unmissable novelty for street food lovers has been created in Portici: Segments. The concept, devised by Simone Canzanois as simple as it is brilliant. Every month a different segment, new flavours, new ideas. It is a real pop-up food store that changes its face and menu every month. It hosts, in rotation, different gastronomic companies, always offering an excuse to return.

Puok x Segments
This month (until 26 April) it is the turn of the famous Neapolitan brand Puok. Attracted by the novelty, I decided to try their Astrospatial Genoese. The result? An incredibly good and tasty sandwich. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, confirming the brand's reputation. If one really wants to pick holes, the size of the sandwich is a bit small, but the intensity of the flavours more than makes up for it.
Here are the three proposals currently on the menu (all at 10€):
- Los Pollos: A great classic with crispy fried chicken, fresh iceberg lettuce and mayonnaise.
- Pig SandwichFor lovers of strong flavours, with griddled pork, iceberg lettuce and a mouth-watering 'secret sauce'.
- Astrospatial Genoese: A soft artisanal rosette stuffed with Genoa-style beef, sweet provolone cheese, floured and fried onions. To finish, a touch of Genovese mayonnaise.
A culinary experience of the highest level packed into a few square metres. What's next? Just follow their instagram page pop-up food segments to know who will be next.
