Choose Capri if you want the easy life and love the nightlife.
- The real advantage: Here you can easily get around on foot. You step out of the hotel, you are immediately in the Piazzetta for an aperitif, and after dinner, you walk back through the illuminated alleys. You don't depend on anyone: zero schedules, zero stress.
- Cons: It is more chaotic and expensive, but you are paying for the freedom of being at the center of the world.
Team Anacapri (Relax with "Attention")
Choose Anacapri if you are looking for the authentic island and slow rhythms.
- The beauty of it: It is peaceful, panoramic, and often more affordable
- The downside (let’s be honest): evening logistics. If you decide to go down to Capri center for the evening or dinner, you cannot return on foot (the climb back up is long!). To get back to your accommodation, you will necessarily have to wait for the bus or take a taxi. If you stay out late, keep this well in mind!
