Rome and the Amalfi Coast itinerary 7 days: Rome
Two days are enough to visit some of the main attractions of Rome. Among these you definitely can't miss:
- Colosseum
- Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel

Rome is a city that can be discovered pleasantly, especially on foot. When you walk around Rome, it feels like being in an open-air museum. Ruins, museums, and majestic monuments make this city one of the most beautiful in the world. The culinary tradition is unmissable, and we find it in its delicious typical dishes. In short, a city to be discovered.

Rome and the Amalfi Coast itinerary 7 days: Naples
After two days in Rome, we move to beautiful Naples, my hometown. Naples is a fantastic city with sunny and welcoming people. Naples is a city full of nuances and many beautiful experiences to live.

Two days are the minimum to discover some of its iconic beauties. My advice, in fact, is to visit the historical center on the first day and to do it strictly on foot. Among the experiences not to be missed in Naples in two days there are certainly:
- Naples underground tour
- Excursion to Vesuvius combined with Pompeii (discussed in this article)
In Naples there will be a lot of walking, so I suggest you arm yourself with very comfortable shoes. Lose yourself in the alleys of this splendid city and admire its “slow” lifestyle.

- In this article about Naples in 2 days you will find my itinerary. In it you will also find the link to book Underground Naples
This way you can spend the first day exploring the city and the second day doing guided tours.
Rome and the Amalfi Coast itinerary 7 days: Positano and Amalfi
In this 7-day itinerary we will travel from Naples to Positano by hydrofoil. Positano will be our reference as accommodation for the next 3 days. Positano is perfectly located to explore the Amalfi Coast.

Highly recommended also for the nightlife, certainly more active than some cities. Positano will be our starting point and overnnight accommodation. Then from here, day after day, we will visit different places including:
- Fjord of Furore
- Amalfi
- Atrani
Two days are more than enough to enjoy Positano and Amalfi and make a few stops along the coast. I take this opportunity to suggest you rent a scooter once in Positano and if you feel like driving it.

Moving around the coast by scooter will make you experience it differently and more freely. If you don't feel like driving you can reach Amalfi by hydrofoil from Positano. But don't worry I'll leave you all the links for getting around at the end.

Rome and the Amalfi Coast itinerary 7 days: Capri
Last but not least stop on this dream itinerary: Capri. A wonderful island famous throughout the world and where I had the honor of living for 7 months. Capri is Capri, there is nothing else to say. Famous for its “dolce vita”, its beaches, its natural attractions, and good mediterranean food.

An island that can be easily explored in a day even if there will be a lot of walking. An attraction that is not to be missed in Capri is a visit to the Grotta Azzurra. An enchanting place where the protagonist is the blue color that radiates in the cave.
