The Tower was built at one of the highest points in the Costwolds and is 17 meters . The style is neo-Gothic and today the tower is family owned.

The area is so large that parking is probably the least of the problems. In fact, you can also, if you wish, park outside along the road. The facility is also equipped with private parking . The price does not exceed 6 £ for the whole day although I recommend you stay less because the place can be visited in a few hours.

One of the things I love about the UK are the long walks in these outdoor places. Maybe it's one of the things that I'll miss the most when I'll return (one day) to my Italy.
Before you get to the tower you will have to walk a path of about 20-25 minutes. Pleasant, relaxing and thanks to which you can see it from multiple perspectives. It goes without saying that my canon and I have been very busy.
The spot for those who, like me, love the landscape photography is exceptional. face with the tower. Once there, you can also visit it inside and admire its neo-Gothic style. From above you can admire the view of about 13 counties.

Bourton on the water
As I told you before, visiting the tower, despite the path to take, takes less than 2/3 hours . For this reason, when I visited it, I looked for some other place nearby.
The choice fell on a beautiful city called: Bourton on the water . I have to be sincere and honest: as soon as I arrived I was shocked.
The city exudes an incredible feeling of relaxation . It is crossed entirely by a river, which is why “on the water” and is wonderful.
Along the river, in center, there are many pubs and cafes where you can eat. I found many people even just sitting along the river on the grass to relax. Recommended.
Bourton on the water: where to eat
I also take this opportunity to point out a magnificent place to stop and eat. Given the long day, if you are hungry there is a very nice little place overlooking the river.
You can find it by walking down one of the alleys of the city and it is called Duke of Wellington . It is also very nice inside although the outside on a nice sunny day is perfect. Recommended.
