Palinuro Italy: best beaches
As already mentioned at the beginning of the article, Palinuro is a summer destination and famous for its crystal clear sea. There are several beaches that you can visit, each more beautiful than the next. I will show you the photos taken by my drone the ones that you definitely shouldn't miss. I will also tell you that Palinuro can be easily visited in 3-4 days, but if you have more time, even better. There is no limit to relaxation!
Ficocella Beach
The smallest of all but the one with a Caribbean sea! The Ficocella is located in the city center and is very easy to reach on foot. If you love snorkeling bring a mask with you (or buy one). The seabed of this area is rich in local marine fauna, the show is guaranteed.

Marinella Beach
Larger beach (with the presence of beach clubs) and from where you can go on excursions. Marinella is another beach to visit and is much larger so you can be more comfortable. You will find public space and beach clubs on the beach. In case you forgot lunch, you will also find a pine forest with a restaurant and bar. From here you can rent pedal boats or kayaks to reach one of the most beautiful places in Italy: baia del buon dormire.

Baia del buon dormire
Baia del buon dormire (that translated means bay of good sleep) is easily one of the uncontaminated most beautiful beaches in Italy. You can reach it either on foot (via a path) or by sea (as I did) with a kayak/pedal boat. Baia del buon dormire is definitely “the” place not to be missed once in Palinuro. Once there, enjoy the relaxation and serenity that this place emanates.

The Rabbit Rock
You can find it right in front of the bay of good sleep and rising from the sea. Once here, if by pedal boat or kayak, you can circumnavigate it to capture its beauty.
Saline Beach
Fine golden sand, long stretch of beach perfect for families. The Saline beach, unlike the others, hasn't many recreational activities. Being completely sandy and not very rocky, it is suitable for complete relaxation.

Palinuro Italy: the Blue Grotto
Another enchanting place not to be missed and to explore via a guided tour. The blue cave of Palinuro is the icing on the cake of this holiday. I leave you the link to book the 2-and-a-half-hour guided boat excursion of the Palinuro coast. During the excursion, you will also stop a couple of times (20 minutes each time) to take a dip. Don't miss this experience to admire the beautiful Cilento coast by sea.
Sunset at Palinuro
I know what you're thinking, what's so special about the sunset seen from Palinuro? I'll tell you, or rather, I'll show you in the photo below. It's the fact that the sun falls into the sea and I love sunsets that go straight into the sea.

Palinuro Italy: the town centre
Like all seaside cities, Palinuro has a small city center where you can spend the evening. The center is full of bars and restaurants where you can stop for dinner or have a drink. In the city center you can easily move on foot since it is pedestrian area.

Where to stay in Palinuro
Palinuro is not very expensive in terms of accommodation and so, if I were you, I would also go a little crazy. Also because there are accommodations with a spectacular view and you only live once. But above all: who wouldn't like to have breakfast with a terrace overlooking the sea? Come on.

How to get to Palinuro
Obviously the car is one of the ways but you can also get there by public transport.
What to see near Palinuro: Agropoli
If you are in Cilento on vacation there is a place not too far from Palinuro that is worth a visit: Agropoli. The pearl of Cilento, as it is defined Agropoli, about which I wrote an article for you. In this article you will find useful information on what to visit in the city. Take a look.

Conclusions
This article about Palinuro is coming to an end even if I don't want it to. Palinuro left its mark on me, being a lover of nature and excursions. The sea and I (for those who already read my articles) are one thing. I would never have expected such beauty from this small town in Cilento. See you the next trip and remember: those who travel live twice!
