Hi guys and welcome back for another walk in the English countryside. Today I bring you to Blenheim Palace , Woodstock, in Oxfordshire, more precisely outside it. Among the oldest in England, birthplace of Winston Churchill and Unesco Heritage .
It seems to me already enough for a visit, even just outside how i'm going to do. Then I will also give you some details if you want to visit it internally.

Blenheim Palace walk: nature and landscapes
In this article I will show you the wonderful spots that you can reach without paying . Yes guys, because entering the Palace (where there are gardens to walk around) costs money! I'll tell you about the cost of the ticket (if you want to enter) later!
What you need to know, however, is that there are areas outside the palace to walk around. Very beautiful trails and spots completely free which make the place very popular.
Blenheim Palace walk: overlooking from the hill
One of the spots I really liked is a mound from which there is an overlooking of the Palace . Here you will also find sheeps grazing and you can immerse yourself completely in nature!
Harry Potter tree
If you are a fan of the Harry Potter saga here find a very interesting spot. You will find the tree of one of the scenes of Harry Potter and l Order of the Phoenix . The tree is of an impressive charm (I know it's just a tree but it has its effect believe me) and then there's another view.
If you put your back to the tree, you will have a view of the Palace with this kind of pond that frames it! I obviously took the opportunity to take some photos playing with the bokeh effect.
Grand Bridge
Bridge that connects the surrounding area from one side to the other and that makes the place different from others. A nice spot to take some pictures and stop for refreshment. The best spot is in a picnic area!
Paths near Blenheim Palace
Around the Palace you will also find some paths (free) with some picnic areas! You find tables and chairs where you can stop, take a break and enjoy the view and fresh air.
Blenheim Palace walk: what to do once finished?
Once your walk is over, you can spend the remaining time in the center . As I told you at the beginning of the article, the Palace is located in Woodstock . The city is small but nice, you can stop in some cafes to sip something.
Blenheim Palace walk: how much is the ticket for the entrance?

How to get to Blenheim Palace
Bus
- Bus S3 and Bus 7 connect central Oxford to Woodstock, four times an hour, 7 days a week. The S3 bus leaves from Oxford railway station. Bus S3 and bus 7 both stop on Magdalen Street. Buses stop in front of the main entrance. A 10 minute walk through the park to Blenheim Palace.
- Stagecoach Bus 233 connects Burford, Witney and Hanborough station to Blenheim. Every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sunday.
- Stagecoach Bus S3 runs hourly from Chipping Norton to Blenheim.
- There is no direct bus service from Bicester to Woodstock.

Train
- Frequent services to nearby Oxford, Oxford Parkway and Hanborough train stations.
- Travel from London Marylebone on Chiltern trains to Oxford Parkway. (Then connects to Blenheim with bus 7). This is the fastest route from London to Blenheim.

Bicycle and 10 good reasons to use it
If you live in the area (Oxfordshire) cycling to this place is the coolest thing you could do. On the way you can enjoy the real countryside and landscape. I rode from Bicester enjoying the countryside. Below is a list of what are 10 beneficial effects to go by bike :
