Palinuro is a seaside town on the Cilento coast and its beaches are dreamlike. A piece of the Campania coast that I really like for its natural beauty. Stunning sea, sea caves, possibility of kayaking, snorkeling and much more.

So much more like spending a holiday of pure relaxation diving into a sea that seems like a swimming pool. Without further ado, let me show you the photos I took of the most incredible beaches. At the end, I'll leave you some useful links for accommodation and tours. Iamme ià.

Are you in a rush? Book the essentials
Best Beaches Palinuro: Baia del Buon Dormire
Certainly one of the most spectacular also because it is the most secluded. Baia del buon dormire is not only the most beautiful in Palinuro, but among the most beautiful in Italy. This bay can only be reached via a path or by sea. I went there by kayak from Marinella beach, which is not far away.

There you can rent kayaks and pedal boats (if you are more people) and take a coast-to-coast trip of this earthly paradise. Baia del buon dorme is the classic wild beach that cannot be missing from your palmares. Don't even think about skipping this beach, it would be an outrage.
Marinella Beach
It is the one where you can rent kayaks or pedal boats and that I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Marinella beach is better equipped having both free areas and lidos. The lidos are well equipped with the presence of services such as restaurants and bars. Many people tend to spend the day at Marinella and then go and discover the nearby beaches. Like baia del buon dormire and if I can give you some advice, do just that.

Villages in Cilento
Wait a second, before you go any further take a look at these villages in Cilento. You will also find some in Palinuro for a stress-free holiday thanks to their fantastic services. What are you waiting for?

Best Beaches Palinuro: Ficocella
Wow. A swimming pool. Maybe swimming pools are even worse. The Ficocella surprised me and is a beach that can be reached right from the city center. Here too you will find free areas (it is a bit more rocky than Marinella) and private beaches. What also amazed me about Ficocella is the marine fauna, beautiful.

Luckily I had brought my mask with me, snorkeling and enjoying the show. You can also buy it there in case, don't worry. A beach where you can definitely spend a day of your vacation in Palinuro.
Best Beaches Palinuro: le Saline
A little far from the center, it is among the largest and most extensive in Palinuro. If you are looking for something more spacious, the Saline is the one for you. If you are on vacation for several days, you can easily see all the beaches. You will also have the opportunity to do some boat excursions, which I recommend. In Palinuro there are some beautiful caves to visit.

Boat tour with entrance to the Blue Grotto
A 2-and-a-half-hour boat tour will make you realize the spectacular nature of this coast. The area of Palinuro, its beaches, and caves seen from the sea are an experience to live. In two and a half hours you will have the opportunity to visit its most beautiful caves and take a dip in its waters. You will fall in love with crystal clear waters, as I did.
Where to stay in Palinuro
One of the good things about Palinuro is that it is not expensive, on the contrary. Here you will find many B&Bs and hotels with very reasonable prices:

How to get to Palinuro
Reaching Palinuro is possible even without having your own vehicle. This, obviously, will limit your ability to reach the various beaches. Especially the Saline beach, which is a 50-minute walk from the center. The other two, however, can be easily reached in 15-20 minutes.
Conclusions
This short article on the beaches of Palinuro ends here. I hope it was useful. If you find yourself in Cilento you can't miss a trip to one of these wonderful beaches. It really is a place that left me speechless and where I will probably come back again. See you the next trip and remember: those who travel live twice!
If you go to Palinuro, also check out this article I wrote about Agropoli. It's less than an hour away and is another beautiful destination to explore in Cilento.
