Collata Beach
Let's start with the first coastal super treat. Spiaggia della Collata is a strip of beach located along the coast of Cetara, near Maiori. The beach, less than 50 metres long, can be reached either by swimming or by boat. A real hidden gem 150 metres from the beach at the port of Cetara.
Fjord of Furore
Let's move on to the second gem of the tour: the Furore fjord. This beach, and its inlet, are a “must see” here on the coast. The Furore fjord can also be reached by public transport (bus) and then continue on foot. The bus stop is located exactly in front of the descent to the beach. The fjord is located between Positano and Amalfi and is worth a visit before leaving the coast.
Grapevine Beach
Located between Amalfi and Conca dei Marini, grapevine beach is another natural pool. To reach it, you have to go down the stairs near the Hotel Belvedere in Conca dei Marini. Along the path to the beach you will find signs. Follow the signs for the restaurant of a private beach: Zaffiro Sereno.
To use the services of the private beach you must book in advance, call 3667352527. The staff will accompany you for free to the beach. Ps I recommend you call for detailed information of the prices .
Cauco Beach
Located in the village of Erchie, a center inhabited by one hundred souls. Cauco beach is beautiful and has as a backdrop: Cerniola Tower. Another enchanting beauty that can be reached easily on foot without problems.
Dead Horse Beach
It is called this because it has the shape of a horseshoe and is located between Maiori and Capo D’orso. Dead Horse Beach can only be reached by sea. Also known as Bellavaia beach, it is possible to reach this paradise from Maiori. You can rent a boat or rely on local services for transportation.
Castiglione beach in Ravello
This is the beach that comes to mind when deciding to visit or stay in Ravello. For those who don't know, Ravello is located near Amalfi and Atrani and is famous for its beautiful villas. Ravello, in fact, is a mountain community on the Amalfi coast, a real postcard. Famous for its medieval beauty and also for the Castiglione beach. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Amalfi Beach
Amalfi, from which the Amalfi Coast takes its name, has a beach right in the center of town. Crystal clear blue water that characterizes the Amalfi Coast, it is very easy to reach. The reason, of course, is because it is located right in the city. If you find yourself staying in Amalfi it is certainly a valid solution for a couple of dips in the sea.
Atrani beach
Atrani is the smallest village in Italy and has a very small beach. It is a real gem on the Amalfi coast and really seems to have come out of a fairy tale. Its beach is small but very pretty for the landscape that surrounds it.
You can reach Atrani (and its beach) easily from Amalfi (15 minutes walk). There is also a bus that takes you from the center of Amalfi to Atrani in just a few minutes.

Amalfi Coast Tour 4 to 7 days

Best Beaches on Amalfi Coast Italy: where to stay
Staying in the right place, on the coast, can be crucial for your itinerary. The city that I feel like recommending for its strategic position, and not only, is Positano:
Positano also has a much spicier nightlife than other coastal towns, which is why I often recommend it as a base for a coastal itinerary.
Getting around the Amalfi Coast
There are many ways to get around the Amalfi Coast. If I had to recommend the most fun and stress-free way, it would definitely be a scooter.
- Public transport (bus)
- Hydrofoils by sea
- Scooters (which you can rent on the coast)
