Christmas with your folks, Easter with whoever you want; that's how the saying goes, isn't it? In 2027, Easter Day will be the 28 March and that is why I am recommending where to go. Ten different European destinations as ideas for your Easter weekend. Choosing will be difficult but I will leave you with articles I have written to help you. Where to go for Easter 2027: Termoli
A new addition to the list, and also a very pleasant surprise and discovery. Termoli You can see it all in a day, but it’s the surrounding area that makes it an excellent place to stay. Perfect for spending 2–3 days exploring Molise.
Not to be missed: a visit to Underground Termoli, a lovely stroll through the old town (where I’d recommend staying), and a visit to the cathedral. On the remaining days, you can visit Acquaviva Collecroce, with its highly unusual history, and the Tremiti Islands. I’ve included the full itinerary below.
Where to go at Easter 2027: Naples
Naples in recent years has seen a boom in terms of tourist visits and the reasons are many. History, art, culture, breathtaking landscapes and good food.

Where to go at Easter 2027: Paris
The city of love. It doesn't matter if you bring your partner, lover, dog, cat or go alone to Paris. It will always be (at least for me) the city where love is found at every corner. Paris is a city to visit for at least in 3 days for all the attractions it has.

Where to go at Easter 2027: Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast needs no introduction and is a perfect idea. The period would also allow you to visit it calmly and without stress. April is the beginning of the working season on the coast and it is not “crowded” like other months.

Where to go at Easter 2027: London
I call it the wonderland city. In London you can find everything, and when I say everything I mean everything. History, art, culture, fun, relaxation, and extravagant attractions. Would I recommend it as an Easter destination? Absolutely, without batting an eyelid.
Even for London it would take at least three days considering how big it is. Getting around London takes time and not because of the slowness of public transport, but because it is so huge. If you think London could be a good idea I leave you an article I wrote to help you:

Where to go at Easter 2027: Porto
But why does everyone in Portugal go to Lisbon? But did you know that Porto is a real gem? No? I spent three days here (which is perfect) and I fell in love with it. Porto is a lively and welcoming city and its people are fantastic and warm.
I really recommend it as an “alternative destination” for Easter. There are many things to do and attractions to visit in the city. Where to go at Easter 2027: Venice
A city floating on the water should already be a good reason to visit. Venice is definitely one of the most unique cities in Italy. I lived in this city for almost two months and “living like a Venetian” was incredible. After Naples, my hometown, it is my favorite in Italy. Spending Easter in Venice could be another good alternative.
Here too, you need at least two days to visit the main attractions. Luckily, Venice is very concentrated and can be easily visited on foot. Walking through its “calle” and finding yourself in front of the Rialto Bridge or St. Marco Square is a lot of stuff. Near Venice there is a beautiful island (Burano) that is worth visiting. Lugano
What do you think of an Easter in the Swiss mountains surrounded by greenery and fresh air? That's exactly what I thought too: it would be perfect. Lugano could be a “less chaotic” alternative to the big cities. Lugano is beautiful in itself, but the beauty of this city is also what surrounds it.

Where to go at Easter 2027: Florence
When it comes to art, Florence is a top city in the world and deserves a place in the ranking. A city that can be easily visited in two/three days as it is very concentrated. Michelangelo's David and Uffizi, some of the iconic attractions in the city. There are obviously many others to be discovered.
As to discover there is the good typical Tuscan food with its typical and historic restaurants. Florence can be discovered on foot and there is a famous panoramic point that I recommend. Budapest
The last tip for this Easter holiday: Budapest. The Hungarian capital, over time, has gained a good reputation as a tourist destination. I have been there and it is a city that fascinates me a lot, starting from its architecture. I love the Gothic style.
A city rich in history and many things to visit. Also worth visiting are its beautiful and ancient thermal baths. I have been to the Széchenyi baths, which are among the oldest in the city. Budapest is perfect to visit in two/three days and I consider it an excellent alternative.
